by Daniel on Jul.25, 2009, under GasMate
This is a bugfix version with a few features added:
- Decimal separator is now pulled from localization info
- Dollar sign($) is also pulled from localization info
- Last gas type used is remembered
- Added an extra digit to gals and price
- CAB file is now compressed to make it smaller, I will work on the EXE’s next

Looks like a great app, but I get the error that I don’t have the proper .NET version. I looked into .NET and its a 33 MB file. Do I really need to install a 33 meg file onto my phone in order to use this program?

Yes you need to install this. I do not think it takes up 33 mb installed, but it has been a long time. Many new apps use this framework.

Looks like you need to install SQLCE

I really really REALLY would like to try GasMate, but even with those SQLCE installs, it doesn’t work. I’m on WinMo 6.0, but I’ll be on 6.1 as soon as the post office can figure out how to deliver a data cable. Are those SQLCE cabs for any particular version? Would I do better to grab the MSI downloads from the very first release post?

Great update 🙂 nice to see a £ instead of a $.
I still have one issue with it tho as I’m in England and prices here are per litre not gallon (even tho we still work out MPG not MPL lol) so I have to do my own calculations before entering data in.
Is there a way you could give the options of price per litre as well as per gallon.

You don’t need to do conversions. If you just ignore the labels, all the actual data is not changed at all between liters or gallons.
